FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can a non-resident own a US company?

Yes. Anyone, of any nationality, can own 100% of a US LLC or corporation. You do not need a visa, SSN or US address, and you never need to visit the USA. We handle everything remotely.

Which state is best for a non-resident?

Wyoming is the most popular for its low fees and privacy, Delaware is preferred by startups raising investment, and Arizona has no annual report for LLCs. We recommend a state based on your business; see our state guides.

How long does the whole process take?

State approval of your company usually takes 3 to 19 business days from your order, depending on the state (Wyoming in 3 business days), the EIN typically one to four weeks for non-residents, and the bank account a few weeks after that, depending on the bank. You get updates on WhatsApp at every stage.

Can I open a US bank account without visiting?

Yes. Our bank packages include a remote US business bank account application with online banking, a debit card and international transfers. Approval is at the bank's discretion, and we guide you through verification.

Do I have to file US taxes?

Usually, yes. Even a foreign-owned LLC with no US income generally has an annual federal filing, and missing it can lead to steep penalties. Our US tax filing service takes care of this every year.
